Arise Vishwa Society NGO works to support and uplift women from underprivileged backgrounds. My role as a volunteer has been varied, but I have primarily worked on projects and initiatives related to data entry, classified data and funds management, meeting and discussing with team members and other volunteers, and helping below-poverty-line women earn a source of regular income and become self-employed. Through my work, I have gained valuable experience in a variety of areas, including: - Data entry and management: I have learned how to efficiently and accurately enter and manage data, including classified information and funds. This skill has been essential for my work on projects related to women empowerment, as it has allowed me to keep track of important information and ensure that it is used effectively. - Meetings and discussions: I have also had the opportunity to participate in numerous meetings and discussions with team members and other volunteers. This has helped me to develop my communication skills and learn how to work effectively as part of a team. I have also gained valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing women empowerment in India. - Helping below-poverty-line women earn a source of regular income and become self-employed: This has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my volunteer experience. I have had the privilege of working with many inspiring women who are determined to improve their lives and the lives of their families. I have helped them to develop and implement business plans, provided them with access to training and resources, and connected them with buyers and suppliers. ​ In addition to the specific skills and experience I have gained, my volunteer experience has also helped me to develop a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing women empowerment in India. I have learned about the importance of education, financial literacy, and vocational training in helping women to achieve their goals. I have also seen the transformative impact that women empowerment can have on individuals, families, and communities.
